- I am a writer, teacher, reader, and watcher (of TV, movies, and people). I live outside of Boston with my fabulous husband and someday hope to be able to write full time and have a dog. Feel free to friend me!
Update #1: Got the dog. Grafton, aka The Petty Dictator, joined our family in spring 2006. He's a rescue mutt with a lot of personality.
Update #2: My first novel for 9-12 year oldswill be out in spring 2009 and is beingpublished by Penguin's Dial Books for Young Readers is out!! MODELS DON'T EAT CHOCOLATE COOKIES is the story of an overweight eighth grader who is entered into a beauty pageant for chubby teens against her will and resorts to acts of sabotage to get out of the situation. Dial also purchased a second novel from me, THE TOTAL TRAGEDY OF A GIRL NAMED HAMLET, which will be released in 2010.
Update #3: The family keeps getting bigger. We now have a beautiful baby girl.
